Event Support

event and notification support

Host your events in the E&I module to better manage your RSVP’s and automate your event communication plan.

Planning a campus event? We encourage you to consider building your event in the CRM Events & Interviews (E&I) module. E&I is a powerful module that is available for both prospective and current student events and allows you to seamlessly collect and manage registrations, automate your communication plan, and track your results.

In addition to the robust suite of hosting tools, E&I can integrate event rosters with CUNYfirst student data to help you gain a better understanding of your audience. The E&I module can handle one-on-one interviews, one-off events, a series of events that span multiple dates, and those that are divided into various breakout sessions or workshops, such as a conference.

Events hosted in E&I can be made public (visible to all students) or private (visible only to those students who have been shared the event link). Setting up a private event can be useful if the event is intended for a specific audience and/or you are looking to tightly manage registrations. Setting up a public event works best if your event is open to all students.

There are many other advantages of using E&I to host your event, including custom registration forms, capacity settings, host notifications, and more.

Here’s a few examples of events hosted with E&I:

  • Commencement: Candidates for graduation reserve tickets for commencement and indicate that they plan to participate in the ceremony through this module. Automated communications are sent to students to confirm their ticket reservations, and remind them about distribution.
  • Mental Health Workshops: Students are invited to attend mental health events provided by the Office of Counseling and Wellness, such as Mastering Anxiety Workshop and Preventing Procrastination.
  • Placement and Skills Test Sign Up: Hunter’s Testing Center hosts a number of limited capacity test sessions for degree and non-degree students throughout the academic year. They use use Events & Interviews to set up repeating events, for which students may select and sign up for an available session.
  • Pre-Health Program Events: Pre-Health students at Hunter are required to attend 3 events each semester. The Pre-Health Office leverages event groups to share all scheduled events for the semester in one place and tracks required student participation through the modules hosting tools.
