International Students Office

The International Students Office (ISO) supports international students and exchange visitors in their cultural and educational transition to the College. The ISO informs students about their rights and responsibilities relative to their immigration status in the United States, creating a supportive environment and ensuring legal compliance in response to the Department of Homeland Security, the State Department and the Students and Exchange Visitors Program (SEVP).

Student Veteran Services

Student Veteran Services (SVS) connects student veterans with academic and personal support resources on and off campus. SVS provides support for service members, veterans, and eligible family members with their academic and personal endeavors at Hunter, from acceptance to graduation, including the transition and integration to our college community.

DREAMers scholarships are for first-time college students and community college graduates. Eligible students may be awarded up to $12,500 for tuition and fees toward an Associate Degree and/or up to $25,000 for tuition and fees toward a Bachelor’s Degree.

Freshman Scholar Programs

The Honors Scholar Program offers merit scholarships, learning communities, dedicated academic advisors and faculty mentors, priority registration, and freshman year priority access to residence life. These programs are open to incoming freshmen only.
