Emergency Support & Resources

Hunter College is dedicated to the health, wellness and safety of our student body. The following resources are open and available to all currently enrolled students; if they are relevant to your situation, we urge you to make use of them.

Mobile Food Pantries

Hunter College has food delivery vans in areas of the city where we have identified a significant concentration of Hunter students in need.

Our vans are distributing presorted Purple Apron bags that include nonperishable items: 2 cans fruit, 2 cans vegetables, 2 containers of grains, (eg. rice, pasta, etc.), and 2 proteins (eg. beans, tuna, peanut butter, etc.).

Bring Your Hunter Student IDOnly Hunter College students are eligible for this program. You will need to present your current Hunter College ID in order to receive a pantry bag.
